Hey everyone, Sarah here. One of the things I've been obsessed with lately is tea. I used to be a "milk and sugar only one kind" type of tea girl, but lately, thanks to a friend of mine, I've been drinking a lot of different types and flavours. We even started our own tea club!
In this short article, I'm going to introduce you to a couple of my favourites and maybe you can try them out!
Forever Nuts: This one is by far my absolute favourite. It is a popular herbal tea from David's Tea. It's a combination of apples, almonds, cinnamon, and a hint of beetroot. The tea is very flavourful and unique. The best part about it is the lovely shade of pink it becomes when steeped. Definitely worth trying!
Quince Charming: Another of my favourites also comes from David's Tea (I admit, a lot of the teas I drink are from here). Quince Charming is a black tea with Quince as it's main ingredient, as well as apples, sweet blackberry leaves, and hibiscus. Quince is a fruit that looks very similar to a pear. This tea is very sweet and tastes delicious as an iced tea.
Matcha: Matcha is a finely ground type of green tea that is grown a very specific way. Matcha is very different in the way that you aren't steeping the leaves, but rather mixing the ground up leaves into the boiling water and drinking it as a whole. Traditional Chinese and Japanese tea ceremonies focus on the preparation, serving, and drinking of matcha. It is said to have a lot of health benefits and is why I generally start my day off with a cup of it.
Hope you all have a tea-riffic day :D
And thanks again to my wonderful layouter Krystle!
