I took Spanish in Middle school, High school, and again in college. I know enough to get by if I need to. It's a bit confusing, but I liked learning it. What level of school are you at?

I'm in grade 10, my second year of high school (: I'll be in grade 11 soon.

Wait, they don't require you to take a language in Canada? In the states, you have to take at least 3 years of it in high school, and you usually need to take a couple semesters of a foreign language in college, as well. Do you speak any french?

Well in elementary school we take French from grades 4 to 8, in high school its your personal choice.

don't worry, you're not (: I don't know if they can speak English :/ I don't understand Italian so that wouldn't work to well.

That's totally understandable. Have you tried emailing each other? I find sometimes it's easier to talk to someone, that I can't see whenever I feel like it, that way. Or you could write each other letters or postcards. That might be kind of fun. Sorry, I hope I'm not intruding too much.

I have two, one girl and one boy. I have talked to them over Skype a few times (like 3 times), its awkward though. I would rather talk to them in person.

That's great. I would love to go to Italy. I'd really just like to go all over Europe. I would love to visit Australia, too. I'll go anywhere I can, though. How many cousins do you have in Italy? Do you keep in touch with them?
