CO-OP is a two period course where you need to go through an interview and application process. In that course you basically do work experience, I will be doing this kind of thing when I go to college as well. I'm all prepared! I know what college and courses I want to take in college (: Since I want to be an educational assistant I requested to go to my old school (where I did my volunteer hours) and work with a grade 1 class.
That's awesome! Is it like that in all of the high schools in Canada? I definitely wish the high schools here were set up more like yours.
no, I don't think so. Only a few schools are run like this, since all school are different. But it also has to do with the school board. We also have another program that you need CO-OP to get into, (I'm in it) its called SHSM.
