Ok. Well, you're lucky to be in that program. I definitely wish we had it, here. Did you have to apply to get in?

yep, it took about a month for the teachers to get it all set up since there were over 200 students that wanted to be in it.

There are some private high schools here that you have to apply to get into. I'm guessing they may have some similarities to your school. Anyway, congrats on getting in. <img src='/layout/nl/images/smileys/lol.png' alt=':d'>

thank you (: my high school is a public high school, we have different kinds of people.

no, I don't think so. Only a few schools are run like this, since all school are different. But it also has to do with the school board. We also have another program that you need CO-OP to get into, (I'm in it) its called SHSM.

That's awesome! Is it like that in all of the high schools in Canada? I definitely wish the high schools here were set up more like yours.

CO-OP is a two period course where you need to go through an interview and application process. In that course you basically do work experience, I will be doing this kind of thing when I go to college as well. I'm all prepared! I know what college and courses I want to take in college (: Since I want to be an educational assistant I requested to go to my old school (where I did my volunteer hours) and work with a grade 1 class.

That's great. Oh, wow. You guys definitely do high school a lot differently than we do. It sounds more like college than high school to me. What is CO-OP? What do you learn in that class?

Oh I did volunteer at my old school, I was confused on what you meant lol. At my old school I would help the kids on tests, helping teach lessons, anything! Well it's up to the student, we all don't take the same courses. for my next first semester I will be taking math, photography, and two periods of CO-OP. (Cooperative education)
