Love the game. I am totally fine with not being to customize the cat because it's the story of *that* exact cat. Not a character you choose different paths with, but it is a story based game. ^^
+ the game needs a TW for Ommetaphobia.

And I wouldn't say the "obejctive" is finding back home. While yes, ofc they want to get back to their friends, we learned more about the world and it sort of changed. That is normal in story based games. ^^

Stray is a lovely game. I didn't play it, but I watched my boyfriend play and used the meow button when I wanted to. I think the game is rather short, and I'm a little unhappy about the very open ending, where you don't really see your cat reach it's original objective - coming back home.

I do, however, think the gameplay was amazing for this. Some might say it's too easy or maybe not challenging enough, but I honestly saw the game as a story being told with the game as the medium to tell the story optimally. If this had been a movie, it might've been interesting enough, but it wouldn't give you the same immersive experience. The same with a book.
I can somewhat agree on the ending, however I think it opens up for a sequel to the game where you, together with the robots, reach "the outside" and see what life is like post dystopian slums.. it could be interesting to continue the story (since this one was so beautifully told)

also i love that you were the designated meow button presser

Since writing the blog, I managed to finish the game. I thoroughly enjoyed it and can highly recommend it even if you're not an avid gamer (such as myself)! Many thanks to @liv  for the gorgeous layout! 😻
