Popstars go to battle for fame & money with their wardrobes.

A cool experience innovation element on Virtual Popstar is the Fashion Contest. There's a few different levels and fees you can enter. The jist is that you're given a theme and have to dress your doll to that theme the best as possible. After dressing, you vote on the other members of the contest and the winners get prizes.

I got to use some of my favorite elements in this entry:

1. My fave skin right now, a fashion shop available skin with only 35 copies available in game. It's a pale skin with big brown eyes and dark lips. Total love.
2. White eyes. This isn't makeup or face or anything else that would make any semblence of sense. It's an "other category" item that gives the girl white eyes and freckles.
3. IDK what to call this piece. A jumper?? It's like a romper that opens up to reveal a bandeau. I don't get it, but it's cute and I've already used it in a few outfits. It was almost too killer to use it in a fashion contest.
4. This wig is a big deal at the moment. I only know this because I've gotten multiple messages with people trying to buy it. Hmm. Sounds like I shouldn't sell it. Plus it's useful for this category (and probably others too!).There are only 14 copies in game!! It's too cute to boot.

After I submitted, I decided to try and put together another outfit too. You know, just to make sure I didn't miss anything important. I also took some time to scan the shops of other items that would be beneficial to put Melmir in the winner seat.

I'm not going to go as in-depth into this one but I think you dig the vibe. No matter what I did, I was going to go edgy and cute and alternative with this look. 


The Outcome

Ultimately, I stuck with my first look and tied for first place!! Another swell Fashion Contest.
