I've never had quail and I hate to go with the old cliche but, does it taste similar to chicken?
Omg, Vegas buffets! Forget the casinos, I'd spend most of my time eating..and maybe a few shows here and there.
My cousins used to drive me insane with those things. They would actually ask me to "check on them" during the night because I stayed up later than they did lol
Same, haha, I didn't drink much in Vegas but the buffets are so huge and varied that anyone could enjoy them. And I think Quail tasted like chicken... I know frog legs definitely do (I think they are exotic to me as well). But Vegas has a "24 hours of buffet" deal that sounds good except after the first buffet you are so stuffed you can't stomach more.
I can relate to that! I remember I'd take them to my grandparents' house and they'd wake me up at like 4am and I'd have to feed them or whatever.
Now i have had those! I didnt enjoy them tho...or maybe it's because I have a insane fear of them too lol
Anyway, I tend to think of them as a southern "delicacy". Where are you from?
24 hrs?!?! I'd probably never leave, just camped outside waiting for the next round. Breakfast, lunch, dinner..I'm there!!
Now that's dedication! Did you have names for them too?
A fear of frogs? There are a lot of small ones around here, but I've not eaten them a lot. I'm from Colorado and I've never been to the south, unless you count Texas. :p  Southern food looks good.... I love fried food, but as I'm trying to lose weight I don't eat them much anymore. The 24 hr buffet sure sounds great but after the first buffet I was like "how can I stuff any more food in me?"  Especially when each buffet is good so even on the first one you grab everything that looks good to you.
I probably did, but Salem was just Salem and I think I had a regular cat as well, but I don't remember for sure. I remember shortly after that I found Neopets and I was so addicted for years.

I think octopus and calamari have more of a taste than jellyfish did. I love calamari, but I've not eaten it a lot since I don't go to restaurants much. I've had octopus before and liked it too, but I like all seafood really. The most exotic thing I've had was maybe quail? I had it in a Vegas buffet so it's not super rare, but more exotic than I'm used to I guess. I liked it, though trying to separate the meat from bones is annoying.

Ahhh, I used to love the Sabrina the Teenage Witch sitcom when I was a kid and I had a Salem the Cat Giga Pet (a Tomagotchi rip off toy from the 90s, haha). I've seen some of the old 60s cartoons. And of course I like the song Sugar Sugar because it's catchy even now. :]

The thought of that is just ew, and I hate peanuts...unless they're boiled.

Mine would be, Ethel because she's just..ok, no words but I like her. Also Sabrina, needless to say I was a fan of the show too. Have you seen any of the Archie cartoons?

My favorites have always been Jughead (cause I love food and burgers) and Betty (cause I was a tomboy as a kid). What about you?

Yes, that's the show!! I LOVE menudo, what's jellyfish like? Is it similar to calamari? I think I'd have to be like starving, like "omg wonder what hamsters taste like" hungry before trying insects..unless I was tricked into eating it. And even then, it better be cleverly hidden in some sort of stew/soup!
So far, they seem to be. Who's your favorite Archie character?

Ahhh, I used to love the Archie comics when I was a child and still have a bunch laying around. So are the characters pretty different from their comic book versions then?

That sounds pretty interesting, so I'll give it a go. Reminds me of this show where the guy samples bizarre foods from around the world. I'm usually watching and thinking to myself, "oh hell no!"
I've only seen one episode of Riverdale, not bad...but I was also a fan of the comic books so I might be a little biased.

I don't really watch horror. But if you like travel shows at all, I've been watching An Idiot Abroad, which is pretty funny. This British guy who hates travelling is basically sent to other countries to see wonders of the world and made to do things that he's not expecting to see his reaction, in between the actual wonders.
I'm kinda hesitant on starting new shows when I'm drunk because I might not actually remember what I watch, yanno? I've heard Riverdale is good, though, and I need to check that out soon.
