I love zoos, but they make me sad at the same time when they have an animal all alone. but then seeing them is so cool i'm torn. I don't know what praia da rocha is lol.
language is so hard for me ahh. how old were you when you were learning the other two?
Well Lisabon zoo is super big and they rarely have animals alone in a cage. Only if they have just one exemplar do they keep them alone. Or if they're young and can't keep them with the older ones. You need a whole afternoon to properly visit the entire zoo!
Praia da Rocha is a beach resort in Algarve (very South of Portugal) The literal translation is Rock beach. And it's SUPER pretty!!!!
5 when I started learning English and 9 when I started learning Dutch. Took me a few months to start properly talking in English and it took me like 4 months to fully understand most of the things in Dutch and another 2 months to start speaking it. Then I started learning French when I was 12 (still refusing to speak it because I hate it lmao), Japanese at 12 too (haven't used Japanese in almost 8 years now) and then Korean at the age of... 16 or something like that.Gonna start learning Korean again cause I haven't had time in the past 2 years so.... And now I also wanna start learning Portuguese!
ahh that's so cool. do you get to interact with any of the animals aside from like a normal petting zoo with goats? i've never been to a beach i need to travel so badly after i graduate. i live in the most bleh state for landscapes.
you seem to be really good at learning them, i'm jealous. i was trying to teach myself spanish over the summer with a language app called duolingo but i haven't used it in a month.
Not really, no. I mean you can pet some birds with they're close to the cage but... that's pretty much it tbh
I wanted to use duolingo too, or memrise, but I suck at keeping up with it lmao XD I'm never gonna learn portuguese like this orz
