a comment on a yt video about it:

"No fans were outside the hotel when Doja tweeted that. When Doja Cat arrived in Paraguay, BEFORE the festival, her fans swarmed her hotel, were singing her songs and we're hoping to catch a glimpse of her or see her. Then the festival happens, everyone leaves the hotel after no appearance from Doja. Everyone leaves the festival before it even starts due to bad weather. Doja Cat doesn't say anything, meanwhile MGK is tweeting about doing a live performance outside his hotel, Miley Cyrus sends out a video to her fans hoping they are all staying safe during the bad weather. The next day Doja Cat leaves to go to Brazil, when she leaves her hotel there are no fans, mostly because last time they all camped out they didn't get to see her, and also people were recovering from the bad storm. Doja Cat leaves to Brazil without a single message, or any acknowledgement of Paraguay or the Paraguayan fans. She then tweets "BRAZILLL" with a shit ton brazil flags. People in Paraguay then start to get pissed, because she's tweeting towards her Brazilian fans without even having acknowledged what happened in Paraguay. She further escalates it by apologising to her Brazilian fans for not putting on the best show. Then the Paraguayan fans get really pissed. They start saying "We waited outside your hotel for hours, we we're so excited to see you, and don't get a single show of support from you when we couldn't even get a show from you?" Doja cat sees all this backlash and then responds with that tweet saying "No one was outside my hotel when i left" which was true, but the Paraguayan fans got even more pissed and said "why would we come to your hotel again, if last time we waited for hours and got no response from you. All we want is for you to show some support or give us a message on social media making sure that we were all okay after that storm" and it kept escalating, and doja kept tweeting without apologising. And that's the gist of why she's getting cancelled."

Her music isn't the type of thing I'd listen to on the bus or something but it's fun and I get the appeal. She's very pretty and I hear she's funny.
