also krobus is decently far in the game and... well you'll know him when u see him...

and as people said, you use crops in small/story quests too so even if you use them less personally. you can unlock sprinklers too later so u don't have to water.

(keep in mind, i am a massive hoarder in games, so take w/ a grain of salt) I recommend keeping ~10 of ea. crop in a chest so u can have them on hand for quests plus whatever is needed for the community bundles (the broken down community center in the middle of town)

there is combat yes. the first mine goes to floor 100 i think but every 5 levels you get down u get an elevator checkpoint to tp back. monsters get harder the farther you go, but better stuff too. don't get me started on the 2nd mine....

and yes there is dating, there's whole story lines around each person u choose to date (i may have "dated" everyone so i could see them all, but i told them no at the end if they gave me the option, honest!), OH but if u do that check the wiki to see how to avoid them all getting mad at you (only happens once you've done all the girls OR all be boys (or both) so no rush)

also until you get everyone maxed (10 for non romanceable, 8 or 10 for romanceable depending on if you've started dating or not) their affection for you will slowly drop if you don't talk to them every day

also also.... if this sounds overwhelming, i promise the game is fun! we're dumping lots of mid/later game info on you as we are having fun w/ this, you will learn gradually, don't worry and just enjoy!
