oh yeah itd be like, rereleasing the actual items that they physically own in their wardrobe, not copies of it. similarly to the auctions with banned users, but old users who are never coming back as well
Oh, I think releasing copies would be better tbh so people can always come back
that would probably require the agreement of everyone on the website and some people are VEEEEEERY particular about the items they have staying the IG that they are, so that would be a difficult task to pull off when the last thing you wanna do is make individual people mad.
Yeah but I think its the only way we could do it, I dont think selling them from offline players is the way to go

i think i would buy mcm more if maybe the quality changes up sometimes. Maybe put  a more high quality one for the middle and the end of the cr tiers so it motivates players to spend a few € more but not too much. Otherwise they wont buy it at all
but don't neglect the lowest option either. i think last month was a good example of a really cute set even though it was for the lowest tier!

I thought they would be copies or just rereleasing them in shop. Stardoll does that and it just made a system where the originals go for more
You could even give them a special label '' 1st release''
Oh yes!!

thats where the idea of sending emails to the emails on file came in, the idea of letting people know that if they dont log back on, their wardrobe may get cleaned out. it was a possible topic of discussion when we were planning auctions like last year

What happened to back of the wardrobe sales?
It used to be a big thing when Jess was admin
Everything was sold for cr only so it encouraged users to spend money here
i dont know if im remembering the same sales as you, but i do remember LE weekends, which was a variety of currencies. i am too "new" of a user (god, its been 5 years...) to possibly remember this
I think that's it...and something new was released every 30 min
I believe the items were things from other servers

all these issues leaking into one another...the site has needed TLC
For real! Talent asked for one thing, got a 1000 others.
i had a feeling, its why the thread was titled vp's future first and then mcm sales second fdlldksgm... cause at the end of the day why would you feel good investing in a product that you dont feel good about?
Ohh I totally agree! And the userbase do have great ideas

I guess that could be an option if you gave them 2 mails instead of 1 and with enough time between them

the issue really runs deeper though. We just dont have that many designers honestly and unfortunately they dont get rewarded enough which i understand... vp is already on its last breath but fr it takes soo much time to design its just not worth it. The designers are great but i dont think it has a lot of variety in styles. Maybe we can have themes that players vote for and designers follow that theme idk or ask players what they want more of in the game.

I mean looking how a server merge is on the table, they might lose their account anyway and having a way that people want to merge is also important, most dutch people dont want to migrate because they would have to start over, re releasing old copies could help with that issue, keeping the IG the same would only make it more difficult

server merge is a bit tricky tho most ppl would probably stop playing for example the ger server doesnt really want to speak eng or cant
