It's an old rule but it was never closely moderated before. 
Speaking a different language should only be in language-specific record labels and startalks, places that are only seen by a select few.

When it comes to gaia or bimboland these are websites that have been around since forever and you can speak about your experience there in a non promotional way. A lot of these websites run very differently than vp and include story based experiences or having to keep your avatar alive by feeding it.
