We created capitalism, though. And since we've been accepting capitalism for so long, now we see the consequences of our actions (Individually, everyone is different and has their ways to either contribute to the existence of capitalism or refuse to accept it and try to attack it).
I see zero chances of us destroying capitalism before we totally destroy the nature

i just think that this attitude of being pessimistic and refusing to believe that we are capable of doing better as a society.......makes u a massive part of the problem . like i get it, sometimes i feel really negative and frustrated too and dont really see how things are ever going to get better but then i force myself to snap out of it bcuz pessimism is a luxury that we shouldnt be indulging in, that we literally cant afford to indulge in

We are not even capable of giving every single person in the world a home, education and food, because we are too greedy and want more. I'm pessimistic of people changing, but I myself work hard to fight consumerism and capitalism, even if what I do is small.

How do you expect people care about the nature when normal people like you or I have to work all day in order to have at least our necessities covered, and sometimes not even being capable of that?
