Yeah but it's not that easy. There are parents who put their gay children in conversion therapy since they are really young and it's hard to erase that internalized homophobia. It's not like he might not want to, but rather that it's hard to reflect on what's going on with you

I'm talking about realizing that you need help to erase the internalized homophobia. It's not easy to understand what was done to you and what you must do to help yourself
