It's not that certain ppl don't get a say in it (imo at least), I just think would be hypocritical of someone who consciously changed their appearance for cosmetic reasons only to go on and preach for body positivity.

Altho I recognise it's bigger problem than just individuals, after all we're all being conditioned by society to feel like we should look a certain way
