thank god for high school allowing me to wear beanies even in the summer. we stan teachers who dont give a fuck as long as you're doing work. or even just being there honestly there was this one day i had terrible menstrual cramps and i was just on the floor sobbing in pain and i had no means of getting home and while we did have free work hours so we could do basically whatever, even the teachers didnt come over because all they saw was me on the floor, sleeping, with my parka as a blanket and they were probably like yeah thats just ronja

they also let me sit on my desk and work. which was nice, much better than sitting on the chair

yeah, exactly. like, obviously you shouldn't be horrible to people or harass ur teachers etc, but if you don't agree with a rule don't be afraid not to follow it and stand up for yourself and what you believe in. Like, you might get older and think 'actually, that rule made sense now i look back', but your feelings at the time are legitimate. it's all just a ploy to get us to succumb to authority as adults and not to question the legitimacy of rules and laws
