when i was in primary school i had a teacher who was in charge of the "peer mediation" at school.. it was basically a leadership program for grades 4 and up,, note i was one of the better behaved students and my gramma worked on campus,, but the teacher in charge hated my guts bc her son was a jerk and i got him in trouble a lot... but anyway she denied my request to join the leadership program all 3 times i tried to get in but let students that had gotten multiple marks and visits to the principals office..

^~ in order to get into the program u had to get a recommendation from ur teacher , and she had to sign a form saying she thinks i could b a peer mediator and thats ALL IT TOOk and i had that but she just changed the rules 4 me specifically

Without explicitly saying what I did I needed to go to the hospital, anyway once my friend had left and I was alone with my teacher waiting for the ambulance she called. She genuinely told me that I was selfish for using up the resources and I "could have killed a baby" (just because an ambulance had been called)

And that was the slippery slope of why I didnt trust adults to help with my depression
