i agree tbh but i do think it depends on howww u do it . like i dont think its always wrong to use terms taken from aave but its also easy to do it in a way thats like . making urself into a parody u know which is a bit :-/

like by being an asshole and using it to like mock people maybe but naturally picking up words is just something that happens and imo its weird to be like 'even tho everyone around me says 'tea' and it's beocme a part of the broader culture of all english speaking people im not gonna use it becuase of its origin in aave' like thats weird

like the natural migration of a word is like black people invent it then the gays take it and use it and then white teenage girls start using it and then the rest of us use it and thats natural.
