We worked at this pizza joint together and he’d been couch surfing and I found him this little apartment literally right next door to work with another coworker, and one night he got picked up on a warrant he didn’t know he had, and when he was in jail his roommate told me he was gonna kick him out for getting picked up (this particular roommate was also selling weed but REALLY STUPID AND OBVIOUS) 
anyways when my buddy got outta jail he told me everything and how he’d been trying to clean his life up and was worried about getting arrested again over his apartment being hot as fuck and likely under the watch of cops - so I rented him a room for 300 a month and the rest is history.

yea you ignored a lot of red flags there

also nobody doesnt know about a warrant they always know about it source: lived with my ex when he was out on parole and hung out with all his loser friends. these guys know when they have warrants. they say they didnt know but they know.

i actually moved in after he kicked out the last roommate for getting picked up on a warrant lmao four fuckin felons lived in this tiny ass apartment and then one by one they were gone and i just moved my dumbass in.

I def see my mistakes now
it was one of those bullshit things where you’re in trouble essentially for being poor tho, some missed fine, so like I had sympathy at the time. They stopped him for trespassing taking the train tracks across town (which literally everyone does...)
However I still could believe he didn’t know abt the warrant, but it doesn’t matter anyways at this point.

I always thought “well if I needed help I hope someone would help me”
But now I think on it like yeah it’d take a huge string of reckless fuckups for me to get into that situation. Lol
