It sucks because I quit/get fired from jobs every few months, or do seasonal work, so like the dates on my resume I think are what get it thrown out so often.
I'm sure there's a way I can spin my grant work and my community organizing stuff to suit my resume.
They don't need to know how much of it was unpaid lol

I def will probably get with you on that once I've got it up-to-date.

They're a really small company and don't require a whole lot of employees (It's just five people right now) and I feel like the fact that they're hiring next week, and I just happened to be talking to this friend at the right time is like a sign from the universe to at least apply.
but I'm also super passionate about my art, but relying on one organizations grants is just not a sustainable way to live.

seems like a hard decision to make,, i guess in the end stability is preferable but then again it's not fun to be compensating for what u love to do < / 3
i hope you find a solution and something that will work to make u satisfied with both stability and ur passion!!

I mean I'm educated and talented but above all I'm super fucking passionate about the accessibility of film.
and I think the fact I sent them a huge lead (one they actually tried to get years ago but lisa was still mourning her husbands death) makes me look really good.
I'd also be working under my friend, which has its pros and cons - but it could be beneficial to work with someone who understands how I function, or don't function, and knows how to handle it.Ā  This friend, actually doesn't know he accidentally, but thankfully, kept me out of jail years ago. lol

but I don't wanna work super hard for someone else, I'd rather take a smaller check and have less responsibility than use all my energy to make someone else money.

I also have no idea what the pay is yet lol
my friend said that starting pay is low but goes up quickly, but that's kinda subjective in this area.
10 an hour, I can live quite comfortably in this town - I hope when they post the job they actually list the pay.
