They're a waste of money. Fighting acid with acid is more effective.
What now, I get heartburn if I drink orange juice when im hungry
Maybe you have acid reflux?
try keeping a diary of what you eat?

Of course you shouldn't consume acids on an empty stomach. But if you have problems with acid reflux after meals, I'd recommend trying apple cider vinegar. Just a tablespoon, put in a glass of water. It might sound counterintuitive at first, but if the issue is too much acid in your stomach, "manually" adding acid to it will send a signal that it should stop producing it. There isn't much research to support this apparently, but it usually works for me.

sounds worth a try, antacids can help but you don't want to become solely reliant on them. better used as needed. drinking cold water often should help too.

oh then definitely try antacids or crackers before meals and see if your stomach adjusts to eating more frequently

Yeah, try that as a first step. Because right now, it's very difficult to know whether you have some sort of underlying problem or whether it's simply a matter of not having proper eating habits.

Hmm yeah, should probably try to see if it helps. Its not very often I need it anymore cus it was usually that I was somewhere else not at home for 24-48 hours, and then I would forget to eat and then started puking from not eating, but now every time im out for more than mby 5 hours or its been long since I last ate im like "I need to eat, I need to eat, I need to eat" for a few hours n then I finally eat, repeat repeat, I still feel kind of bad then cus I don't eat a lot cus I don't have money n nobody else has food I like, buttt im way way better at not letting it go that far anymore lol. Was tragic one time I forgot for 30 hours mby and then I puked for FIVE hours n I tried drinking chocolate milk so it would fill up my stomach but it just came up again n then it stopped for a while n I threw in some grapes n it stopped lol. Not good times fr.

I get easily nauseous and dizzy n stuff even if its just been 5 hours sometimes which doesn't seem normal but mby its cus I don't burn the food fast enough so I don't get what I need or smth. Idunno, very annoying but I am eating more often now, usually 4 meals a day, which is fine but not today cus I woke up at 6.30 so the day was much longer than usual

Five hours between meals is a long time for me... You need to make sure the food you eat is actually nutritious. Dizziness and nausea are signs that your blood sugar is low, which means you need to eat. If nausea is a more general problem for you, try ginger. You can either just chew it raw, or slice it and pour hot water on it to make tea.

i also get lightheaded nearly all the time, my food doc told me to put the focus on proteins and fats when i do eat because those will last me longer until the next time i eat. if your stomach isn't handling normal foods well at all, then stick to plain foods like the soup, crackers, bread, etc. just to make sure you get something in you that won't come back up.
