I know some Eurasier's get the purple tongue as well, but I also think the breed was bred with some chow chow in their line.

Might be but who knows, my boy had a really dark tongue and I still remember how a friend I had was so spooked when he tried licking her she thought he was sick lol
man I miss him so much, I hope that he's doing well, we had to move and leave him with family and he's an old boy now, am shocked that he's still alive in all honesty

i used to groom two chow sisters from when they were 6 moths old to 5 years old and gosh i love them even though they did not feel the same about me. they tolerated me which is all u can ask for hahaha

oof ahaha yeah they are amazing but it can be hard to gain their trust, my dog HATED my father and guarded my younger brother and would not let anyone but me pick him up when he was a tiny kid

I def agree the average dog owner doesnt have the skills or knowledge needed to own APBTs or staffys. I dont think breed bans are always the answer but i understand why you feel that way. where i live there are no breed bans even for apartments, lots of pittys. i have an American Pitbull Terrier/American Bulldog mix and shes dog aggressive, but i also know what the fuck im doing and can keep her and everyone around us safe. 
i would def be biased and probably think differently if id ever had a bad experience with pittys but i just havent! been working w dogs for 10 years and ive only gotten badly bit once and it was by a bernese. those fuckers r strong and i still refuse to work with them without a behavior consult first lol
