you are naive
that's not necessarily a bad thing, it means you can learn
but monarchs are not the worldly saviours you think they are, they actually were all pretty bad in general
which you should know if you are interested in historic monarchs, because no one's making a secret out of how they screwed their people over (I mean, that is as far as Bridgerton is not your only run in with "historic monarchs";)
