I feel like both monogamy and adultery are natural but well, we might be more monogamous than polygamous because of kids and offspring and all of that good shit.
while it doesn't apply to everyone, I think it's the case, then again monogamous behaviour started literally a million years ago so I think it's not REALLY just a social construct? but they definitely play a part, and not necessarily because of the social construct today, but because technically speaking you're more likely to survive when you're not alone
Women r monogamous and men are polygamous I think. If we take the revolutionary approach. Spread ur seeds into the world, men
idk if most men are like that, but it's a fact that they do see it as less problematic than women, although I and my partner are the opposite, I thought about it as I like men and women, never tried and don't think I will, as it's not for me, but also because I'm in a secure and good relationship, and my man is just "NOPE, no, no thanks, I trust my partner but don't need no one else"
then again it really depends on how they grew up, those that see polygamy as an okay thing tend to develop a fast life strategy that emphasizes insecure attachments, immediate gratification, risky behaviors, and aggression, so I say that unless you're not actually okay with it yourself, don't get into it
Yes I think, as it is now, its just differences in brain wiring, upbringing, all that stuff. But if u think long long long back, it would make more sense for men to be evolutionary polygamous cus they gotta spread their genes, and women can't do that in the same way as men can. At least if their spermies are strong
