How do yall weigh out what u will keep and what u will discard
Im contemplating just alternating between two jars, so I put what I keep in a clean jar, discard the other jar, clean it and then after 12 hours I switch it again
Or is there more practical ways lol

So I have a food scale but it's about a half cup of discard, I made another starter using the first discard but you can mix the discard in with almost any bread/ dough recipe and use it. I suggest keeping your starter in its first container and leaving it there

Put it on a weight and then remove into a boks i put in the fridge

This looks just like it's supposed to look. If it smells like nail polish, just keep feeding it with flour and water (remember to throw some of the starter away first). If the smell is really strong and sour, feed it. If the smell is sour but gently it is good to go. If you just started making your starter dough, if it floats it's good to go

If it floats now I can use it? I made it like less than 48 hours ago so idk if itll work lol but 
But yeah smells bad lol imma feed it later tho liekk in 3 hours maybe

I was too lazy to get to know how old it is but if you take a spoonful of the starter (don't mix it first) and it floats when you put it in a container full of water it should be good. Tho if you made it just two days ago would recommend feeding it for another 3 days
