Ye mine didn't turn up very bubly either but they still had good consistency and flavour. The taste is because of the starter and you need it to rise so I think maybe either add an extra flavour to the bread could be an alternative or like... just do a regular bread if they didn't like the taste. Fine flour also have less taste than rye? Sammalt, etc.Â
