my old roommate knew i had bad anxiety and used to try and convince me our house was on a sink hole

my grandmas house had a sink hole open under it and you know how they fix that if it doesn't get swallowed?
trucks of cement, like, dozens of them, come in and fill the sink hole and the house just rises up slowly
she said her dad laid in the living room while the house was being lifted by cement (this was the 60s they'd never allow that today)
