1) I didnt intend to go to work drunk. 

I occassionally drink on the job to maintain a buzz because it makes the work day more bearable for me and it's easy to get away with where I work. I work with a small number of employees in a grocery store produce room. I got drunker than I intended and my coworkers and a family member noticed. That's not what I planned. 

2) I wasn't bragging. I was terrified of the possible repercussions of my actions and wanted to vent in a safe environment. 

3) I dont speak to professionals because- although I hate the consequences- deep down I dont want to quit drinking to excess. That isnt good and I have what's coming for me. I could suffer in silence, yet I crave interaction like all humans. 

3) You make assumptions and come across as judgmental more so than you do concerned. 
not you making excuses for drinking on the job, there is literally y no way to excuse it

Who are you to declare what should or should not be discussed on an avatar site? I understand such platforms are associated with children, but why do they have to be? Kaj wanted this site to attract a much younger audience than the young adults who gravitate to this community. So the people who post here dont fit your associations.... and?

If you dont like threads about drinking you dont have to read or participate. I don't really think you're concerned about the children... I think you want to control how they think and feel and what they're exposed to. If we are being honest, most ppl here are no strangers to mental health and substance abuse. It may be tragic, but its true. 

If I were glamorizing substance abuse I'd consider your criticism valid but I'm not. I think its fucked up, but I'm lonely, not ready to stop, and want ppl to talk to. If you dont like that leave 
I don't think she's trying to be controlling, based on what I read, I think she's trying to be realistic. MCS exists for a reason. Just because it's VP and we're all messed up in some way doesn't mean we all want to read about how you're mad at your grandma when she was "snitching" on you for very legitimate reasons related to your out of control drinking problems.
