the thread was still, albeit indirectly, about the warning and the first thread that got closed, which is against the rules. the problem with banners is that if you don't provide a translation alongside it every thread you write in - and the chance of someone finding the thread with the translation is very slim. in most forums i've visited there's a specific section for international discussion where it is alright to speak in your language without translation provided - the speakers of the language could then report any messages with rule breaking content in it. vp doesn't have one and isn't obligated to create one. you can talk shit about the actions the mods take but their sole job on this site is to enforce the rules the admins (or just kaj?? who knows) have set, and since it is owned by kaj, his word is "law" and he can do whatever he wants with the site. it's same as you visiting someone's house and breaking their rules, though i get that it's harder to comprehend virtually. if you don't like the rules then you don't have to stay in vp??
i've been a mod on another site so yeah i speak from experience. a lot of their job is backend aka you don't see or hear what they do. it's a thankless job but someone has to do it.
