Obviously a 17 and a 19 year old isn't the same as a 6 year old and a 30 year old. But my point is that we have to draw the line in the sand somwhere.

as someone who works with teens n have education in their development and whatnot, in a legal sense - yes, teens are children. but there is a reason as to why the concept "teenagers" exists, which is a realtively new term. its the middle ground between adulthood and childhood. cut them some slack, they are dumb and they will do and say dumb things - but on the other hand, they are autonomous humans who understand right from wrong and consequence.18 year olds arent adults, theyre half baked breads
