I have worked with voluentary in many different ways in my life, and I am sorry if I upset any of the team members by something that I have said in this thread - it was not my intention. As I said in the original post: I hope you earn real life money or some kind of benefits, but I understand that you probably do it for the joy of it - like I do with my work.

Not everything in life should be about benefits/money and such, and it's capitalistic of me to make this thread in the first spot, but VP is kind of a class system in some ways, which makes it hard to not think capitalistic.

I would have gladly used money to get a manager some times, if I knew it came to people (like team members) that genuinely care about this site, and put their heart into it, got some of the cash. I just don't like making a few people richer, and don't seem to really care about this site - only when it benefits them. The new site (that should not be named) that many people here went to join, is a reason why I made this thread.

I don't feel the owner make this site "better", so that "new people" want to stay, so when people join other (new developing) sites, I understand the reason why, but again, I don't mind the old site design. This design has it's charm. I play (mostly) because the people here are nice and care about the website. and I really enjoy the creativity in the sets, the contest, and such.
