when yall say clothes

or just used clothes
does it make a difference if its unworn w tags, but thrifted
I just don't like being gifted clothes in general, eek. Maybe if it was like a tshirt with something the person know i liked or something i wouldn't mind. But otherwise i wouldn't like people buying my clothes.

name things you would be unhappy receiving
clothes if it's not something extra special, small home appliances (like... a coffee maker or a hair curler or sth), home decor items

i wouldn't mind like an instrument, camera or music records. or like hobby stuff that pertains to me
can u elaborate on why
would u like the same clothes if they were new with tags, but looked completely the same (as in not special)? Same w the home decor. Or do you not like receiving home decor either way, so its more a fact that its home decor, and not the thrifted part thats making u not appreciative
well you've obviously made up your mind already and are just looking to prove me wrong so idk why i even bother, but

bc used clothes are worth less, they's not in as good shape anymore and they have less use left, they have wear and tear from the previous owner and can look cheap or shabby. to me, buying like a 2 euro sweater from the thrift store as a gift shows you don't appreciate the receiver enough to get something with better quality (bc you can get better quality things for 2 euros that show more effort/care). so unless it's something that's normally expensive or hard to find gifting thrifted clothes is iffy to me

i don't like receiving thrifted home decor because i don't know where it's been and i don't want bad energy or other metaphysical baggage from other people's homes gifted to me.

another thing is that i'm sensitive to mold and heavy detergents etc, and other people's homes often have those so i don't want to be gifted something that will make me sick.
