I published my own without any help, it was hard tho, to do everything alone, but it was fun and obv it took a lot of time, I will see if I can find any front pages to my new books on my half new computer or if they are on my USB or old computer haha

I do a lot for layout and ngl, my new video here, will be about my books, hehe
i imagine it would be, yes, it's hard enough writing a book let alone publishing it as well

Poetry is something I want to try out, but I think I need to read more poetry books before I even attempt it.

Indeed, there isn't many people who publish their own book atm, like without any help and stuff like that, they have mostly like a publish place to get them out with a lot of help, u know?

Yes, I have seen a surge of hybrid book publishers. They let the writer have the right to the material for as much as they pay for the publication costs. The publication company helps with the publishing progress, while the writer stands for a certain percent of the cost is what I mean!

Traditional publishers take on everything, but the writer gives away most of the rights to the materials.

Self-publishing is a great way to have total control over where your material goes and how it is published. Though I can't imagine all the work you had to do! Not to mention the cost  *brrr*
