Selfless love is, imo, the only ''real'' love
Is any love selfless if it makes you feel better emotionally urself. Im not saying its wrong to be self centered like that (its pretty much impossible to not do), but pretty much every act of love boils down to it. Like, what is selfless love even? I could argue it doesn't rlly exist but
Selfless love; loving without expecting or needing anything in return (to put it short)

The whole ''but if it feels good for you to love, then how is it selfless love'' argument to me is just idiotic if I can say that.

Because it is possible to love and show love even if it doesn't benefit you. It's more important for me that the other person is happy, than it is for me to be happy. Putting them first.

Because it is possible to love and show love even if it doesn't benefit you. It's more important for me that the other person is happy, than it is for me to be happy. Putting them first.

Even tho its not a conscious decision and you think its more important that they feel happy than u, u must still get something positive out of it, idk, no mayter how little it is
