what if she gives you a bunch of stuff, every single time you meet up? 
did she give you this stuff out of kindness and for you to keep regardless, or out of buying your affection? 

Yes, she has given you things, but you can also hand them back and let her know out of respect for her, you really cannot take them because XYZ

I think the gifts aren’t as much of an issue as it feels like it’s something that should be done first thing not after a whole hang out session

yes I actually don't know, she does tend to give a lot and last time we went out together she kept trying to buy things for me and I kept telling her no because I can buy things myself and she got quite upset..
