Fawn nodded, leaning further back to recline against the couch. "Tired doesn't even begin to cover it," she said with a smirk. "I've got too much to get done and not enough time to do it." She sighed and laid her books down on the coffee table, already bored to tears from studying for five minutes alone. Suddenly feeling courageous, she turned to look at him as he stood in the room. "Can I ask you a question?" she said, in the mood to be a bit nosy. Without Paige around, it was time for her to get things sorted out between her and Evan. As long as he cooperated, they could have a conversation without being interrogated the next day. "What are you like in public?" The two had never seen each other outside of the apartment, and from the looks of it, things were going to remain that way for a while. Fawn wasn't very fond of this idea; she had a feeling that there was more to Evan than meets the eye. "Do you make your bootycalls whenever you feel like it, or do you actually eat lunch at McDonalds like the rest of us, or...?" She stretched out a bit on the couch, hoping he would be willing to chat.
Maddox sighed, shaking his head. "Don't be," he stated, "I probably would have done the same thing. You can keep that one." He rose from the sofa and grabbed another bottle from the fridge before returning. "I don't know, don't you ever want to make decisions for yourself? I feel like you base everything off of what will make Vanessa happy, like you're in some sort of frickin' relationship or somethin'. You need to do something for yourself sometime 'cause otherwise that's kind of a turn off." He shrugged and took a swig of the drink, shivering a bit as the cold, smooth liquid went down his throat. "I'm just saying." As if the conversation was already over, he searched the cushions for the remote and switched on the television to the local news station. He liked keeping up on current events, even if he didn't like to advertise the idea. When he didn't hear a reply from Dahlia, he turned to look at her. "What? Did I say something taboo? What slipped out this time?"
