| After pushing everyone to be away—to be sad, you will finally be content. Because you like being lonely. You like to be alone. You know that at the end of the day all you have is yourself and all who will be standing there is you. And you hate depending on others—hate leaning on anyone. Because you're scared the weight of the darkness will crush them and then you will have to watch them go anyways. You're scared the depth of your sadness will drive away their smiles anyway. So you push away first, making the moves first. Pushing the love away. Pushing the happoiness away. Push away anyone who even pretends to care. Push away any speck of a chance at being happy or loved. Because this is what you deserve. This is what you need—to be alone. |
