| You're Waiting For A Train... - Writing |
| ... a train that will take you far away. . . . We are young and beautiful, hopes fill our backpacks, expectation weighs on our shoulders... We have nothing but each other. . . Silly games, happy times and dumb decisions make up most of our days. Always together, we laugh and cry and grow... On this particular spring day, we smile while having snacks and fun and nothing’s wrong. . . And then... The darkness.. But I am not scared, I’m not alone... I have you, my friends. We are young and clueless, what they say, we do... No hesitation since they know best... They care for us all. . . And then, at last, the awaited words... They set us free and so we run. We run for life and that we hold dear. . . Is it too late now? . . The train is gone. . . But it’s not empty, it carries our souls... Down through the tunnel and then for some more. . . We’re still together... Fear, darkness and pain are all far gone. . . At last, we reached our destination... A vast land where spring never ends and the sun shines in perpetual dusk. . . By my friends and the sea, I will stay forever young. |
