I love that Australia is fairly multicultural. While people may still hold racist attitudes in some cases, a positive is that we have many different cultures in our country.
I like that Australia is peaceful in comparison to some other countries (Gun control, for example, but this event is a positive event so I'll stop there). We have hot summers and I love that. Australia has some very beautiful places. Central Australia is so different from Melbourne and yet they're both such lovely places to be. Also love the beaches. :-)
Frente! are my favourite band and they happen to be Australian also. :d
When people are in need, the nation is capable of coming together as a whole and helping out (Black Saturday appeal for example)
We have decent health insurance and I'm very grateful for that and we are stereotyped as laid back and relaxed which is always good.
Second Place: Star650
7k PD + Limited Outfit!
I am proud to be an American because of the dream that we carry on in each of our hearts. The dream to carry on a bright future and to carry on the pride our ancestors gained as they fought for our equal rights and freedom. To carry on those rights that those before us stood up for, risking lives and naught to carry out those rights, of those our founding fathers vowed to when they founded this land of freedom. I am proud to be an American citizen, to be able to support those around me without fear of being persecuted or put down. I am proud to be part of such an elaborate country that has fought time and time again to secure our basic rights, and to establish welfare for all it's people. I am proud to be part of my HOME.
Third Place: Malaika2001
5K PD (Already placed elsewhere)
I am proud to be Pakistani because they:
~ Always help each other
~ If something is finished like shampoo, they press it so forcefully so if something is left use it!
~ If one soap is finished or is small , they join it to new soap.
~ Never give up!
~ Always asks for an item in market for less price.
