As well as that we thought we would also share our ideal holiday destinations with you. Be sure to tell us some cool places to visit and where your ideal holiday destination is in the comments! Enjoy x
Hailee's Best Canadian places to visit
Hey guys! It's Hailee here, and we're back for another few weeks of group articles! I'm so excited to be working all together to bring you guys some awesome articles that are all relating to summer!

Today, I'm going to share a few of the places I love to visit during the summer as well as where my dream vacation destination is!

Let me know in the comments if you've ever visited any of the places, or where you could like to visit one day!

Bluesfest

Although, this isn't an actual place. It is a big music festival that takes places in Ottawa for two weeks, and each day there is a different line-up of musicians who will play on a particular stage. Over the course of the years, we've had some pretty big names play here in Ottawa; the festival has music that will please everyone. There is always a huge headliner, and then some smaller acts that might not be as well-known. They try to be diverse and include some rap artists, pop, indie, classic rock, anything you could ever imagine! Bluesfest had initially started out to be a blues festival, but over the course of the years, they have begun to include different genres of music! What I like this is there is something for everyone, you can go for the day and just sit with your friends and enjoy some excellent music. They also have some cool food vendors on the festival grounds that are worth checking out; it is a good way to bring all of the music lovers together!

Toronto

Toronto has always been my favorite place to visit, and I've been going since I was young because my brother lives there. You can walk anywhere in Toronto, which is one thing that I like the most as I'm not a fan of car rides. For those who have never been to Toronto, I suggest that if you plan on going, you check out the CN tower. I'm such a wimp and am scared of heights, but once you are up there it doesn't even feel like you're off the ground! A cool attraction that they have recently added is the Ripley's Aquarium; I love going there as I am fascinated by marine life. And also, sharks are cool, and they have loads of sharks there. I think the one thing I love the most about Toronto is, it's never a dull moment. There is something to do no matter what time of the day it is, there are some excellent food places to check out, and some awesome bars to hit up if you're in the mood! You can also take a walk along the waterfront, which extends pretty far out, so there is no telling where you'll end up. If I could, I would relocate to the city just because of those few reasons!

Ottawa

How could I not talk about my birthplace?! Ottawa is known as the Nation's Capital, and it is where the parliament is located. Ottawa has many beautiful things to do; we have the downtown which has a lot of small shops that are fun to browse and look around. And during the summer months, we have a market center where people are allowed to go and sell some of the things that they've made/showcase their art. Ottawa has a lot of museums that are fun to check out, my favorite being the Nature Museum as it looks a bit like a castle. We also have an excellent nightlife, as the downtown is always a good place to go, we have many bars and clubs where you can go dancing the night away. What I love the most about Ottawa is how beautiful it is, although, the downtown is busy, there are a few parks that you can go to and just relax and enjoy some of the sun!

Where would I like to visit the most?

Although, this may sound a little silly, from what I've written you can probably tell that I love larger cities with things to do. One of the places I would like to visit would have to be New York. I like the idea of how busy it is, and how there seems to be always something to do. I've had a few friends go there before and fell in love with it from the first moment they were there. I am also a HUGE Broadway fan, so for me, it would be cool to go out and see a musical of some sort.

I also have many other places in mind of where I would like to visit, but then we would be here all day! Let us know where you would like to visit the most!
PLACES TO VISIT DURING SUMMER; UK EDITION
Hi guys! Georgia here! I'm so excited to be back doing group articles for you.

Today I'm going to tell you some summer hot spots here in the UK as well as my favourite holiday destination. Be sure to let me know if you've visited any of these places in the comments!

I'm from the UK, and most of the places I visit are in this country so here are some of the places I love to visit during the summer.

The Eden Project

Now I'm not talking about just going to the Eden Project; I'm talking about Eden Sessions. Eden Sessions is basically a festival where you can enjoy the beauty of the Eden Project while enjoying live music. For those of you who don't know, The Eden Project is located in Cornwall, England. They have large indoor rainforests that make you feel like you're in the real thing without actually growing. They have different domes to represent different things, for example, they have Mediterranean and rainforest biomes, Mediterranean gardens, outdoor gardens and so so much more. It is the perfect summer place to visit, be that to enjoy the music of Eden sessions or to enjoy the place itself. As well as the plants and different gardens it is also home to a place known as the core that lets you learn interactively about climate change, ecosystems and so so much more. It even has different sculptures you can look at such as the seed by Peter Randall-Page, a giant bee and the WEE man that is made from different recycled materials. It has everything and is great for all ages. And it's close to St Austell which has some great beaches so you could enjoy a whole load of stuff while you're there. I feel like The Eden Project is such a good place to visit during the summer, the whole place is beautiful. I'm so sad I missed seeing Paolo Nutini there a few years ago. Also, fun fact! I've performed at the Eden Project at Christmas and also took part in a light parade, it was an amazing experience.

Yorkshire Sculpture Park

I know I've mentioned the Yorkshire Sculpture Park before, but I think it's only right to mention it again as I think it's the perfect place to visit in the summer.

The Yorkshire Sculpture Park is full of different sculptures from many different artists such as Not Vital, who is currently showing at the park, Roger Hiorns, Sol LeWitt, Anthony Caro, KAWS and Magdalena Abakanowicz. The park features both open-air sculptures and indoor. The outdoor sculptures are the best for summer though as you can just go on long walks around the park enjoying the sculptures and the beautiful scenery. If you're in Yorkshire, then I highly recommend you pack yourself a picnic and head on down because it is the perfect place for a summer day. And on the plus side, IT'S FREE! And you can bring your dog!

York

York is a city located in northern England, and the city was actually founded by ancient Romans. There is so much to do and see in this city that there is literally something for everyone. From the cathedral to the museums, to ghost walks and even a cat gallery there is so much to do. My favourite thing about going to York is the museum. I have really happy memories of going there my grandparents and cousins, and I can remember we had a lot of fun. Another thing I love about York is the Jorvik Viking Centre. The centre allows you to travel back in time and see what life was like back when the Vikings were around. I have been a good few times, and I've always enjoyed it. Although Jorvik is now sadly closed until 2017 due to bad flooding at Christmas of 2015, there are so many things to do and see that I highly recommend a visit to York.

I feel like this is probably going to be wayyy too long so I'm going to give you some other cool places to go in the summer if you're in the UK (without going into detail), and then I will tell you my holiday hotspot.

Cool places to go in the Uk summertime

Thorpe Park
Covent Garden
British Summer Time Hyde Park
V Festival
Seaton Beach
Filey, Skegness, Bridlington

My favourite
holiday destination

My favourite holiday destination has got to be Greece. I love it. I always have such a nice time there, and it's the place I've been most apart from the UK. My favourite places in Greece that I've visited so far are Corfu and Kefalonia.

If I could visit anywhere in the world, I would really love to go to Australia or New Zealand. I would also love to visit Santorini.
Photosynthesis's Favourite spots
Hey guys, Sarah here! Like Hailee, I too live in Canada! So I thought today I'd talk about a few other places you should visit if you ever find yourself in Canada! Canada is a big country, so there is definitely plenty to do.

West Edmonton Mall

West Edmonton Mall is located in Edmonton Alberta. It is the largest mall in all of North America, and 10th largest in the world. It has over 800 stores to make for a great afternoon, or week, of shopping! There are many other things to do here as well! The mall is also home to Galaxy Land, an indoor amusement park filled with roller coasters and various other rides. Other attractions include a water park, mini golf course, IMAX movie theatre, and even an indoor lagoon with sea lions! It's definitely in my top picks for somewhere to visit!

Niagara Falls

Niagara Falls is a good tourist destination because it can be viewed from both the Canadian and American sides. Sitting right on the border, Niagara Falls is a series of three Falls- Horseshoe Falls, American Falls, and Bridal Veil Falls. The largest of the three, Horseshoe Falls, sits on the Canadian side. There are many activities to do at the Falls, including a walk under the falls, and a ride on the Maid of the Mist, which takes you very close to the bottom of the falls. Careful, though, you will get wet! And if you aren't feeling the falls, there are many museums, attractions, and shops on the main street.

Canada's Wonderland

Located in Vaughn, Ont, Canada's Wonderland is one of my favourite places to go. Canada's Wonderland is a theme park with various thrill rides, kiddie rides, water park, food, and even a few shows. The main attraction of the park is The Leviathan: A roller coaster sitting at 308ft (93.3m).

While I have not been on it myself, I have heard it is fantastic! I have been on ALMOST every ride in the park. I haven't been in a few years, so I haven't been on any of the newest rides (Leviathan included). My favourite ride is a tie between 3 of them; "Nightmare", "Riptide" and "Flight Deck".

All in all, it's a really fun place to go if you enjoy roller coasters and thrills as much as I do!

My dream vacation spot would either be England or Hawaii. I would like to go to England because that's where my parents are from. I would love to visit family and see more of my background and the place my family comes from. I would like to go to Hawaii because I love the beach and tropical weather. I think it would be a beautiful place to relax and enjoy the sun.
Romania? Here's what you should visit!
Hey guys, it's Alexys here talking about summer. I don't know about you guys, but this summer I'm traveling. I'm hopping on a plane and off I go to visit and make some memories.

And speaking of traveling and visiting, how about I show you guys some wonderful places in Romania which you surely can't miss in this lifetime!

How about we start this list off with one of the most well-known places here and one of the biggest tourist attractions, Bran Castle. How many of you have heard the myth of Dracula? Oh, all of you? No surprise there. Bran Castle is also known as Dracula's Castle and can be found in Bran, at a very small distance from the wonderful city Braşov. The first written mentioning of Bran Castle dates all the way back to 1377, when Louis I of Hungary allowed the Saxons of Braşov to build their own stone keep. In 1920, the Bran Castle was an official royal residence and ended up being the favorite retreat of Queen Marie.

And speaking of castles, while Romania does have quite a number of them, another two very worthy of mentioning castles are Peleş Castle and Corvin Castle. Peleş Castle can be found near Sinaia, a mountain region in Romania, and has a splendid and rich architecture. This fantastic landmark was built by King Carol I of Romania between 1839 and 1914, and it was meant to serve as the monarch's summer retreat. You will need a guided tour for this astonishing castle, and there are three available tours. The first tour only offers the ground floor as part of the tour, while with another option you can get to see the entire castle in all its glory.  As for Corvin Castle, it is situated in Hunedoara, part of Transylvania. The original Corvin Castle was built in the Gothic style, but it did feature a few Renaissance design elements as well. Some of the towers were meant to be used as prisons, and others were meant for defense. Are we ready to hit the road?

And speaking of roads, let me introduce you Transfăgărăşani and Transalpina. Two of the most beautiful and spectacular roads of Romania, allowing you to go through the mountains. They both reach some high altitudes and because of that it's not encouraged, and they're actually closed off during the winter.

There are honestly so many wonderful places which need to be at least mentioned since it would be too much to describe all of them. Neamţ Citadel, Turda Saltworks (there's an amphitheater and also a fun park, UNDERGROUND, like how cool is that???), Danube Delta (one of the largest and well-preserved deltas in Europe), Palace of the Parliament (second largest building in the world), Bigăr Waterfall (it seriously looks like it came out of a fairytale), Biertan Fortified Church, Statue of Decebalus and so many others.

As for me, as said, I'm traveling this summer. I'm heading to Portugal and then to Belgium. But where I'd really love to go, and anyone who knows me will know of this, is Seoul in South Korea. Why? Simply because Seoul as well as the rest of surrounding cities, is breathtaking and absolutely gorgeous. And let's face it, in Myeongdong-gu, which is known as the 'shopping district' of Seoul, you can find so many street vendors. And who doesn't love street food? I know I do! And I know that one day, I'll get there!
