Anyway last week we got up to a bit of fun didn't we! So we have some announcements!

EMMA'S SURPRISE
So the Monday surprise? Where was it!? We had it released a little late, and it is still being worked on. But we got a marketplace! We can now collect rare items and sell them in the marketplace! We can also release albums and vehicles can now be worn out. 
Have fun collecting new items that are available only for a short amount of time, then selling them a year later for 200k!

We can now feel special to have rares!
Winning battles can be easier!

THE NEWS TEAM SURPRISE
So the News Team Leaders, me and Kismet went on a mission to find new members for the team! We hosted a competition, secretly watching the entries and came up with a great new team! Some are here just to host events, edit articles, organise and write of course! Heres a bit about some of them!




Meet Question2000!

What motivated you to join the News Team competition?
Kitty actually did, she messaged me about this competition saying I should join at first I was like no way I'm not a good writer then I thought about how fun it would be and finally gave in. I didn't come in 1st, 2nd or 3rd but that didn't matter to me all that mattered was about taking part and that I enjoyed the experience.

 

Did you think you would get anything like being on the News Team out of it?
I think being on the news team will help me with organisation and working as a team, it will also help me to become a better writer as the rest of the team can give me some feedback!

 

What do you plan on bringing to the community?
Creative competitions, Awesome Articles and interesting interviews. (See what I did there ;) )

 

What is some advice for the community?
Keep on going never give up what you love, think about what you can improve on and show your love for that thing!

What inspired you to apply for the comp?
Gala actually. I thought about joining at the beginning when it was first introduced but I had severe writers block and opted out. Then Gala told me about the writing competition and coaxed me to join, so I did. She also told me about how she was trying to reorganize the News Team and it really made me want to join so I'm happy I had another chance as I really regretted not writing an article the first time the position was offered.

I think I would get a lot of confidence out of joining the News Team. Being able to publish articles that people would actually read regularly would give me a sense of confidence. I think the News Team may also be the spark I need to get me back into writing regularly again.

I plan on bringing articles that are interesting to the reader, as well as articles that are well thought out and engaging. I hope to write some more serious articles on things I am interested in or know about or just anything from the headlines, as well as a series with tips for aspiring writers.

My advice? Be kind. I know it's simple but on go supermodel there was a lot of drama and I know that drama is common in many other forum sites. Being polite and understanding is the best way to prevent this site from becoming a toxic environment. If anyone makes you feel uncomfortable, don't be afraid to report them.
