Famous Haunted Dolls (by Private)

Hello everyone, Vintage here!

In spirit of Halloween coming up, I wanted to start off the upcoming month of October with some haunted and creepy dolls along with snippets of their backstories!
Some you may have heard of and some not. But in any case, they are still interesting and quite creepy to look at. Let's take a look!

1. Mandy: The doll was made in England or Germany between 1910 and 1920 and was donated to the Quesnel Museum in British Columbia around 1991. Mandy's old donor reported that she would hear crying in the middle of the night, but it stopped after she gave Mandy away. However, there have been reports in the museum that strange things happen such as items disappearing and reappearing in different locations. The museum located her in her own case as she would reportedly harm the other dolls.

2. Robert the doll: Around 1994, Robert was put into Key West's Fort East Martello Museum. He sits in a chair in a glass box holding a toy lion. Around him contains apology letters from people who took his picture without permission. Before being put into the museum, Robert was the companion of Robert Eugene Otto or commonly known as Gene. Robert was given to Gene by his parents, and Gene was repeatedly reported by saying that Robert did this or that when things moved or strange occurrences happened.

3. Joliet: This haunted baby doll is a part of a family whose kept it for four generations. The family has kept the tradition in which each new female member of the family is given the doll. The doll was cursed by a vengeful friend of the family in which has cursed the family where one girl and boy is born and the boy would die three days later after birth. The family states that cries of different infants can be heard and is suggested that they are the cries of the baby boys who mysteriously died.

4. The German Girl Shrine Doll: During the beginning of WWI, the British mistreated many foreigners in their colonies. They had suspected a German couple to be spies In Singapore in 1914 and captured them, but their young daughter escaped only to fall off a cliff. The townspeople of Pulau Ubin erected a shrine in memory of her. The porcelain altar “supposedly” contains a lock of the girl's hair along with her crucifix. The doll was not put into the shrine until in 2007 when a man reportedly had dreams of a girl leading him to a toy store with a Barbie doll in it. Although the doll is not possessed, it is still an interesting tale of a deceased girl wanting the barbie doll.
Have you heard of these dolls before? What do you think of them? Would you visit the places mentioned to see them? Ever had an experience with paranormal dolls before? Would you want to? Why or why not?

Also thank you Krystle for this amazing layout!

I'm so happy you are <3 it means a lot
I decided not to include Annabelle since she's pretty famous already and I wanted to put somewhat lesser known famous dolls. And yeah she isn't scary at all unlike in the movie apperence wise
