Hello everyone!
Been a bit crazy lately and wanted to recap any updates and news.
Following recent discussions on site, I'll be looking to address any issues brought up in my help forums once I've returned from my trip so we can start to get things rolled out for the New Year. Soon as I'm aware of any updates that I let you know of I will ♡
We've recently took on some new designers and transfers from the Dutch and German server and some lucky people have also been successfully transferred over to there! Eve, Shreen, Mordiera and Pearlivian have been accepted on the other servers and are officially badged. Well done guys!
As mentioned in my mail on Friday, I'll be away so stay safe, be kind and take care!

For this month’s “user of the month” we let the VP community nominate someone for the role and we received a lot of nominations for this person and we couldn’t agree more, this month’s “user of the month” is Vuitton! Her great attempt to get the community together with her party/parties have been appreciated by everyone, and makes her perfect for UOTM.
Vuitton, who’s real name is Maria, is a 20 years old Danish girl who originates from the Middle East. She is currently on a gap year, but has plans of majoring as a human rights lawyer and work for international organisations such as EU and UN. She describe herself as a “humanitarian by heart,” and has always been driven to bring justice to people whose voices aren’t easily heard. She is also, believe it or not, a big fan of Louis Vuitton bags which is how she came up with her username. However, she wants to clarify that she also likes other bag brands! Even though some people find fashion boring, Vuitton sees it as something very versatile that also can express a person’s personality.
She joined VP almost a year ago but on a female account which she deleted and switched out to a male account because she found the male accounts and their style more appealing. She, like a lot of other VP users, was missing GoSupermodel and found out about Virtual Popstar via Google. Vuitton has two favourite things about VP; the dress up aspect and the socialisation aspect. She really enjoys to dress up her avatar and also watch other people dress their avatar in their different and unique styles as well with seeing how kind and tight the VP community is. She is really happy to have got a chance to meet so many amazing people.
Vuitton came up with the idea to host a party after she noticed the server had seemed to be a bit gloomy for a while, and she wanted to bring everyone back together to the fun side of VP. She got inspired by the wedding Vig and Dani hosted, and even reached out to Vig to get a better understanding how their wedding was such a success. Her main goals with the party was to bring positivity, bring people closer to each other and make sure people had fun, and I think we can all agree that she reached those goals. She is also very thankful for her friends, the lovely sponsors and the partygoers because without them the party wouldn’t had been such a success as it was, and she is also very thankful for the kind compliments as she received. For the end of this interview Vuitton would like to announce that the second party is in the making and it’s going to be hosted on December 7th! We hope to see you all there!

November has been an exciting month, as no less than two teams announced their new members! The Youtube Team was first, adding four new members to their team at the beginning of the month. Applications were held throughout October, where the team was looking for two new editors and two new vloggers to join them. Unfortunately they did not receive any vlogger applications, but decided to add four new editors instead. The News Team would like to congratulate the new members, and we look forward to seeing what creative content you have in store for us!
The second team to add new members this month is the Design Team, which hosted applications from the end of September to the end of October. Applicants had to design a female set and a male set each, based on the theme of “autumn casual”. In the end, five new designers (Gravitation, Chalya, Aeris, Mjom & Mikkelrev) were chosen to join the team. A few days later, DT also expanded their team with two additional designers (Lily & Crown), who had previously been badged on other servers. The News Team would like to congratulate the new members, and we look forward to seeing more of your designs in game!

The first competition of the month was SMT’s monthly “who wore it best”. Fitting for the season that many of us are currently in, the items to style were a vest for females and top for males, both in warmer Autumn colours. The prizes for this competition were stunning identical hairs, made by Pearlnet. But this was not the only WWIB of the month, as SMT later shared another round of this popular competition. The theme this time was Movember, an annual event where men across the world grow moustaches during November to raise awareness of men’s mental health issues and suicide prevention, as well as prostate and testicular cancer. The item to style for this event was then of course a mustache, designed by Masilein, that you could get via an unlimited code. For prizes, females could win a gorgeous plaid dress and males, matching shorts, both designed by Moss.
A different competition SMT also hosted this month, was a meme competition. The instructions were simple; “to create a meme that somehow involves Virtual Popstar.” You can check out all the funny and relatable memes here, as well as take a look at the prizes which were a collab set between Crown, Helmii and Kaysha for the female prize, and a set designed by Crown for the male prize.
ET hosted two well known series of dressup competitions this month, Greek mythology and seasons. First up was the Greek mythology competition, and this month’s god/goddess was Gaia, the primordial earth or mother goddess. Both prize sets, featuring pink tights and gorgeous flowers, were designed by Pearlnet. The second competition was seasons, with the theme of Autumn foliage. The beautiful, theme appropriate prizes, were matching sets by Gravitation.
As for prize events there were two this month as usual, SMT’s raffle and ET’s design event. The prizes for the SMT raffle were on the darker side, and the female prize was designed by Mjom and MsSuicideSheep while the male prize is by Mjom. This month the raffle was hosted by the Facebook group, and for a change, how you entered this raffle was simply by writing your name in the forum. For ET’s design event, which continues into December, the theme is “Holiday cheer”, and the designs can be inspired by any holiday that is traditionally celebrated in November or December. Both of the cool prize sets for this event are designed by Bowie.
Congratulations to all winners!
