DIY Christmas Gifts: Food (by LoveIsALaserquest )

Have you got a friend who loves baking or just loves a good cupcake? Then this is perfect for you! Here are instructions for what you will need and how to make this cute gift!

What you will need:
Cupcake cases
Sprinkles
Toppers/decorations
Packet cake mix
Cellophane bags
Ribbons
A pretty box

What you need to do:
This part is so easy and really fun to do. Start off my putting your cupcake cases into the box. Next pour a selection of sprinkles into the cellophane bags and then tie with some pretty ribbon. You could do the same with the cake mix instead of leaving it in the not very attractive packet. Once you've done all that all that is left to do is arrange into the box and add some decorations in. Then you can decorate the box how ever you want to.

Winter is the perfect time for hot chocolate and anyone with a sweet tooth would love this gift. It's a lot like the cupcakes, but it is a really lovely gift and it also shows that you have thought about what they like.

What you will need:
A mug
Hot chocolate (your favourite or the persons favourite)
Marshmallows
A candy cane
Chocolates
Cellophane bags
Ribbon

What you need to do:
Put your hot chocolate powder into a cellophane bag and tie with ribbon. Do the same with the marshmallows. Once you have done the hot chocolate powder and marshmallows, place them nicely into the mug. Then add in the candy cane and chocolates. Once everything is in the mug wrap in cellophane, wrap with ribbon and your done :)
So this one is my own idea. Now lots of people love chocolate so why not give them something new to make that is simple yet delicious. This is how you make a chocolate truffle kit. There are going to be a few ingredients that you can't put it but just put in a little set of instructions so they will know what else they need to get.

What you will need:
Good quality chocolate
Cream cheese (not added in because it will spoil)
Oreos (these are Oreo truffles woo)
Decorations (sprinkles, nuts, dried fruit)
Cellophane bags
A nice box
Ribbon

What you need to do:
Put your Oreos and sprinkles into separate cellophane bags and tie with ribbon Place them into the box along with your chocolate and then add in a small set of instructions. To make these truffles all you need to do is blend the Oreos until it's all crumbled up. Then mix with your cream cheese and vanilla together. Then add the Oreos to the cream cheese mixture and mix. When it gets hard to mix you know it's right. Then get a tea spoon of the mixture and roll it into a ball in your hands before placing it onto a  sheet of baking paper. Leave the Oreos to harden for an hour in the fridge. Then melt your chocolate before you take the truffles out of the fridge. Dip the truffle into the chocolate and while it's still melted add any decorations you like.

Also so can you check it as well please? Make sure there aren't any mistakes or anything
