Hi guys! It's Tuesday, so that means Iu's here, with a brand new article!
Sweets... Ah, we love them, don't we? Even if we'd maybe get caries because of them, who cares? For such a long time, sweets really were a first priority for some people, but mostly for children. Sometimes we really want to bring back that child who lives in our hearts too, don't we? So let's talk about some sweets you didn't know how good they are probably. I'll show you a list of nine of the greatest sweets I've ever had the chance to eat by now, coming from much places around the world, so be sure to have some by your side too!
Thank DEAR for this sweet layout!
And also, I'd be really happy if you'll share some of your favourites too!
1. Carambars I cannot express how much I love these ones! Carambars are chewy caramel candies, originally from France, mostly like Starbursts, but I feel they are tastier. They come in much variations, such as fruity, nougat, sour, cola and even peach ice tea flavours!
2. Sherbet fountain At first, I couldn't even taste those. I still remember how grossed out I was by them, but as I grew up, I actually fell in love! Sherbet fountain is actually a sweet made of fizzy powder, and you eat it by dipping a lollipop or liquorice inside of it, or your finger, for sure! It has many flavours, such as lemon-lime, bubble gum and many more! Ah, the memories.
3. Eugenia Eugenia is actually a crunchy biscuit sandwitch, filled with cream. The cream has flavours like rum, cocoa, vanilla, but actually it comes in variations such as cinnamon apple pie! As a Romanian child, I grew up with this sweet and I'll never let go of it!
4. Fizz Wiz Typical popping candy, which I bet you guys loved as kids! Or maybe was I the only one...? I think Fizz Wiz was the only interesting thing that I bought when I was in the 3rd grade, and even now I'm searching for sweets like it! Coming in flavours such as Coca-Cola, cherry, cotton candy and more, it was something too cheap for the fun I had while eating it.
5. Ramune Even if it's actually a drink, Ramune is something worth searching. It's a really easy to enjoy one, as it is a soft drink with lovely flavours. The most know it's the original one, which is lemon-lime flavoured, but also the strawberry one. There is even a kind of Ramune that tastes like wasabi! What's so special about it is the strange design that the bottle has. Even if it's somewhat hard to open it, as long as you'll learn how-to, you'll be very greatful!
6. Daim (bar) I feel this one is one of the sweets I'd eat untill I die, even if it's hard to get one. This crunchy almond toffe-bar goddess, that's also covered in milk chocolate, blew my mind away from the first bite. Such a sad thing that it's hard to find. You lucky Norwegians and Swedes!
7. Kinder Bueno Who would resist the temptation of eating this one by just a few bites? Kinder Bueno is such a wonderful bar, with a hazelnut cream filled wafer, with milk chocolate covering. Even if it sounds like such a simple sweet, it's actually one of the best ones I've ever got the chance to eat! As where I live, it is kinda expensive, thank God for every single bite.
8. Smarties (tablet candy) Smarties are the type of tablet candy that almost everyone knows. They come in so much variations of colours, these including white and pastel shades of yellow, pink, orange, purple, and green. For each color, we therefore have a different flavour. Their effervescent flavours are such a delight in most cases, but for me, they simply feel like childhood, every time! 9. Hi-Chew I still remember the first time I had one of these! I was so confused by them that I thought I tried to eat an anti-mosquito pill. Every piece of this candy has white coating and a colored, flavored interior. The texture it has is like a cross between chewing gum and fruit-flavored candies. Personally, I simply adore those, but not all the time, as they seem pretty sticky.
