Let me clarify my comment since I have no interest in going down into this line of discussion. My comment is made on a general basis where people do feel empathy. It is based on a study done that reading makes you more empathic as you learn more of the world and different experiences of people. The comment is also ironicly stated. Not everyone is capable of feeling empathy, no matter how many books they read. It's just how their brain is wired
