all the kids i work with have autism and let me tell you it's not cool or great. Ya they are lovely kids but it's so hard on them and their families. Honestly when you learn your child is disabled your world just falls apart for a bit so to call it "cool" or "great" seems kind of ignorant?

I've had addicts of all types in my life, and alcoholics are by far the cruelest, and most miserable people to be around.

That being said, I think folks, especially younger folks, mistake alcohol abuse with alcoholism and they are not necessarily the same.
