Well....technically speaking, the team in itself can actually give badge to all 5 people though, as there's not an actual limit as to how many people can be on a team, or is there? Besides I feel like badges are more or less for uniqueness, for showing off sort of, so the limitation of badges is actually just sort of to make them special. If each and every one who had made a design get a badge then there's really nothing special to it. Same with ET/CT, if everyone who hosts a competition gets a badge then there would be a lot of people and some probably wouldn't even host much competition. The teams just get a slight privilege, so I guess people wouldn't want everyone to get that privilege as well as it makes it less special. (And by privileges, I mainly meant a page like this for announcement, automatic messaging, as well as items.) For example: the special point of code prizes is the rarity, if there's a hundred people, or even 50 getting it then its not as special. Same goes for DM as of now. It used to be special, even when it was just ONE item.

I'm not saying this to be rude or accuse anyone of anything more or less, but that doesn't mean it won't be taken as an offense just because I didn't mean it to be pointing fingers, so I'm apologizing beforehand if people are too soft-hearted to take it. Wow I feel like I just made it more rude. I just finished an essay exam at school, I somehow felt like preaching and this ended up being way too long.

What makes no sense is why is you're questioning this. The judging is done on a point system and some designers favour some designs over others due to the way they are designed, or the uniqueness of the design. Zodiac had rather unique looking skins which I believe were in her odds till the final.

You shouldn't put down other contenders just because your favourite didn't get a badge. There will always be at least 2 designer contests a year for people retry.
