Summer Fashion Trends 2016 (by NewsTeam )

Hey guys, it's Alexys here once again. If anyone knows me they'll know I'm all about crazy hair colors, maxi dresses and skirt in the summer, and makeup and nails.

Pleats are all in this summer. And pleats go amazingly well with maxi dresses and skirts. Add in a bold color such as electric blue or bright yellow and you are totally in this summer.

Orange is the new black this summer. Who am I kidding, black during the summer? If you wanna live in a sauna sure (okay, I'm also guilty of wearing black in the summer) but this summer orange is all in. The brighter and the more vibrant it is, the better. And why not try a little orange in your wardrobe? It can be a beach dress or some shorts, maybe some accessories or a block colour for your nails, but you may never know when you'll fall in love with the perfect, fitting shade of orange.

Another trend which I absolutely l-o-v-e, chokers! I've been wearing chokers ever since I can remember. And lately, they've had a boom and came back. I'm not only talking about the tattoo chokers, but in general. Don't be afraid to wear them if you can rock'em. And don't be afraid to layer two chokers as long as they're both visible. The lovely thing about chokers is that you can pair them up with anything, for any occasion. T-shirt and jeans? Works perfectly fine. A date? Works just as well! Just remember to get the right ones for you.

Extra long earrings are super in this summer. With a shoulder-grazing length, you can't go wrong. In all shapes and size, simple or bulky, colored or just plain metal, you have to have a pair for this summer. And if they don't match, all the better. Have you ever lost just one earring from a long pair but kept your other earring? It's time to get it out of the box. Let the mix-and-match begin!

What are your favourite summer fashion trends?
Hi guys, Georgia here! Today I'm going to be talking about some of my favourite 2016 summer fashion trends. To help you see these different things I have also created some cute outfits on polyvore. Let me know if you're a fan of any of these in the comments!

Off the shoulder tops:

Now off the shoulder tops are things that I have always loved, I just think they look so nice and you can get them in so many different verities that you can't really go wrong. I think they are perfect for the warm summer as they allow you to get some air to your skin while still looking fabulous. Here's an outfit I made!

Chunky sandals

Chunky sandals are one of my favourite things, they just look so good I think. And I just love sandals, they are pretty much all I wear when it gets to summer and if there's a nice day in any other season then I will try and wear them then too. I think that a pair of chunky sandals are the perfect thing to be able to complete any summer outfit. You can get them from anywhere too and they go with everything, even more perfect. Here are some of my favourites!

Denim Mini

Now I love a denim mini, they just always look so cute. I've worn them over different periods of my life and would happily wear one again. I'm glad they are trendy this summer, I may find mine out. There's even a cute denim mini on here! Anyway, on to the outfit :)

Mirrored Sunnies

Mirrored sunnies are the perfect way to complete a summer outfit and they are so in lately. And they look so good. There are so many different styles out there too that there are literally a pair for everyone. Here are some of my favourites.

Sports logo

And finally, sport logo tees. They are becoming more and more popular and I have to say, I kind of love them. I see people like Lily Pebbles wearing Adidas tops with a bomber and I think she just looks so cool. I love this trend. Here's the outfit I created for this trend, its more of a dress than a tee but I think it's super cute!

I hope you guys liked this and seeing the different ways you can style this summers trends.

Until next time guys x
Hailee's Hot Summer Trends

Hey guys, Hailee here! Today I'm going to share with you some of my favorite summer fashions. I've always been into a bolder look, so I understand that some of these styles may not be for everyone! I would love to hear what your go-to fashion statements are for the summer!

The half moon bag

I used to own one of these purses; I liked it because it creates a good statement piece to an outfit. The one I owned was tan, much like the picture. Although, it would also be cool to add a pop of color to any outfit with this! I would seriously die for this in blue, or red. What I love most about these purses are how big they are, you seriously can fit so much in them, which is amazing when you’re travelling! And you just slip them over your shoulder, and you’re ready to go for the day! (I used to use mine to sneak water and snacks into the movies!). I really think that bigger bags are making a comeback, and there is no better way than to do it with a stylish purse.

The slip dress/lingerie

So, the slip dress has been around for a while, but we’ve always known it to be a piece of lingerie. It’s not something that you would see on the red carpet, but, there have been a few cases where stars have taken a risk and worn a designer slip dress. Recently, more and more have been designing a more practical slip dress that can be worn. Mainly, the color ranges in the nude palette and will include an accent of lace. In the pictures above, they are primarily paired with a larger jacket. I would honestly love to own one of these in black, and could see myself wearing it at some fancy dress party. Also, satin is so comfy you could just come home and pass right out.

Pairing

So, this one I used to be scared of because I thought it looked silly. I used to hate wearing the same colors, and would never see myself wearing two different patterns. Who never said you could never wear two shades of blue together? I think to pull this off; it’s all about how you layer your items. I would have to say one of my favorite paired items are a striped ballerina shirt that I pair with a polka dot skirt, much like in the picture. Honestly, if you do not feel comfortable with it, try something simple!

Printed shorts

Printed shorts are so awesome, I mean it’s the perfect way to add a simple pop to your outfit. I honestly love how far along they’ve come, I mean floral, animal print, tribal. The best part if you pair it with a tank top, and you have an awesome outfit that you can rock day and night. I’m not going to lie; I usually wear a white shirt and pair if with a cardigan for the colder nights, but shorts are a blessing, and I don’t think I could live without them. I highly suggest that you run out and get yourself a few pairs right now!

Tie Dye
As a kid, I always wanted to tie dye things, but they would always turn out lame, and I never wanted to wear them. It’s so sweet to see that only of my childhood memories are making a comeback on the catwalk. What I love about the comeback is that they are meshing the tie dye into some cool patterns. Not only are we using it as a statement, but full pantsuits are being tie dyed as well! I would love to get my hands on a long cardigan that has the incredible effect on it. Way to bring back a blast from the past.

Sarah here yet again. Now, I'm not really up to date on what is considered "hot" right now, I'm more of a wear what I think looks good sort of person. Some research was definitely needed on my part, and I apologize if I give some bad advice ;P

Colourful Stripes
I love all things colourful, and I love stripes, so I'm very happy this is in right now! There is a wide variety of stripes pattern, making each shirt or accessory different. My favourite is the plain white shirt with the small colourful horizontal stripes. It turns a plain t-shirt into something exciting! It also works really well with a nice summer dress.

Rucksacks
Rucksacks are handy and stylish! They come in many sizes and colours, but my favourite is anything with a bit of colour in them. They can hold essentials, making it easier than carrying around a purse. You can find some really amazing ones for cheap if you know where to look! They go great with almost any style, making them a must-have for the beach or just taking a walk.

Yellow
Yellow has always been the colour of summer, and 2016 is no exception. It's a bright colour that brings out the beauty in everything. Can easily be paired with a variety of accessories, shoes, and jackets. Goes nice with the colour black to make it stand out more, or oranges to bring out the feel of summer more. My favourite is a yellow sun dress with a wide brim hat and sandals. Simple yet bright.

I love all these summer articles. :) I do love off the shoulder tops, but they gotta be like 3/4 sleeves and baggy to cover my fat arms and stomach... lmao. I wish I had more than one tye-dye shirt because those are cute too.

I REALLY love wearing yellow in the summer. I mainly wear jean shorts that go down to my knees and various t-shirts because I really don't care about fashion all too much, but I really wish I had more yellow for summer.

I love chokers with all my heart, and big comfy cardigans are always great in the evening after the sun goes down in the summer. Another favourite of mine are the classic ballerina shoes, that go with everything!

thank you for the great article and cool layout *-*
honestly I don't really have any summer-style or use summer clothings or accessories, I have kinda like clothes I use all around the year
except of course during summer I use my lightest clothings and sometimes even dresses but it's not that hot here, I'm fine with my basic clothes
