With August coming to an end, we are officially entering autumn. Back to school comps, designs and outfits are starting to make their appearance on vp again, and we’re all here for another fashionable school year! Speaking of fashion, we have a fun little fashion game for you created by our very own Melk in this issue of the monthly magazine, in addition to all the regular updates and a full recap of the month we just finished. This month we are also appreciating one special user, so make sure you flip the page to see who it is, and enjoy the rest of the August magazine!
Dear NT
Thank you.
Thank you for this opportunity. Thank you for all the support, the conversations and the laughter. Thank you for the memories and the amazing years. I will cherish what I’ve had with you for years to come. Though it’s only vp, this team has been a huge part of my day to day life these past few years, and taught me so much about teamwork, the world and myself. I’ve spent way more time than I’d like to admit thinking of ideas, planning, researching, writing and practicing coding. Thank you for allowing me to be me, pestering you with reminders, updates and cute... but probably unnecessary ideas.
I’m looking forward to continuing reading all your incredible articles and admire each of your layouts for the masterpiece that it is. You’re all amazing people, and I will miss this team so much.
Love,
Atencia

Claiming codes on a side account is a common problem on VP and therefore we wanted to talk about this problem in this issue of the magazine. We are going to explain the rule and the consequences of violating the rule and hopefully will learn to not violate the rule so more users can get a chance of claiming limited codes.
The rule can be found under the “team related information” and it’s this pretty long part of that section:
“Claiming codes: All codes are given by team members. If you come across a code that has NOT been given by a user on a team, DO NOT claim it. We ask that you message an online moderator with the information with the name of the user and code name. If you do claim the set, you will be asked to send it to a moderator. If you refuse, the item(s) will be deleted from your wardrobe and you risk receiving a warning.
Limited (LE) codes: If a code with a limited amount of redeems is released, a user can only obtain this code on their main account. Users are prohibited to obtain more than one copy or claim codes for the opposite gender on a side account. For example, if a male code is released by a team, a female main cannot use a side account to obtain that code. The only time this will change is if the team specifies that multi-redeems/side accounts are allowed. If you fail to follow this you will receive a warning. If this behaviour continues, you risk being barred from any competitions where codes are prizes. NOTE: It is your responsibility to message a moderator if you share an IP address with another user within the same household.”
The simple and short version of the rule is to NOT claim limited codes (a rule of thumb is that if nothing else is clearly stated then the code is probably limited, but most teams mark their limited codes with LE) on any other account than your main. If you miss the code for your main account’s gender then you are NOT allowed to claim the code for the other gender.
If you would get a code from someone who is not a team member then you should NOT claim the code, instead you should contact a moderator (either by sending them a message or reporting the message). You should never share a code with anyone on VP, it ruins the fun for the teams that has planned the event and it is also against the rules to share such information. You should also never share a prize code that you have recieved when winning an event hosted by a team, if you would then you would recieve a punishment from a moderator and you could also be banned by the teams from joining events in the future.
There are a few different consequences for claiming a LE code on side accounts. The first time you are caught claiming a LE code on a side account you will recieve an official warning where you will be informed that it is not allowed to claim LE codes on multiple accounts. If you would be found claiming LE codes on side accounts a second time then you will recieve a time out. If the behaviour continues, despite multiple time outs, you would be banned from VP.
