So you might be asking, "Why in the world would someone try to make Christmas better? Isn't it already the most awesome holiday out there? Hello?" So yeah, most people might think that some things just can't be improved. Or can it? :eyebrows: Here are some Christmas Eve life hacks, and Christmas Day life hacks that just might make this special day... MORE SPECIAL.
Christmas Life-hack 2:
So on your way to Grandma's house and suddenly... BAM! A traffic jam so thick you could just get out and run on the tops of cars? No problem! Survey your surroundings, and see if you spot any large 8-wheelers (those large trucks). Pay attention to which lanes they take, as they usually have radios and devices to tell them how to get to their destinations as quickly as possible. Just follow them for a while, until traffic gets less heavy, or follow them until you spot an exit. Drive through, and take the local way. XD
Christmas Life-hack 1:
Want to add some extra pizzazz to your hot choco on Christmas morning? No problem! On Christmas Eve, whip up some cream by whisking heavy cream, and depending on whether you want a colorful drink or not, mix in some food coloring as well. Place the colorful whipped cream into a piping bag, and using whichever tip you want, pipe out designs, or plain swirls onto a chilled plate. Afterwards, cover and place in the freezer. On Christmas day, you can unwrap the plate of hardened whipped cream, and place it in your hot choco! Add marshmallows, and SLURP! XD
Life-hack #3:
So it's 3 hours till Christmas dinner, and you know you're going to need all the stomach space you have, right? But then, you get the craving for snacks, and just can't help it! You sneak a cookie. Then 2. And pretty soon, you're sure that you won't be saving any space for dessert! You know, there is a way to prevent that ^_^ Go find a LARGE glass of water, and gulp down as much as you can. This will chase away the cravings, and you'll have plenty room for dessert XD
Life-hack #5
So you have a bunch of guests coming over, but forgot to decorate? Again, no problem! Find a colored plastic cup, and poke a hole through the center at the bottom. Blow up a balloon, and attach a piece of string to the bottom. Pull the string through the hole in the cup, and tuck the balloon it. Now you've got some DIY make-shift decorations! XD
Life-hack #4:
Need more decorations for your christmas tree? I've gotcha covered! Find some cranberries in your local supermarket (or anyplace you can find some) and string them on some TOOTH FLOSS. Yup. Tooth floss. And why not simply thread them through some sewing thread? Well, you see, sewing thread has this friction of the material that it's made of, which makes stringing anything a hassle. To prevent the hassle and make the process faster, tooth floss has a thin coating of wax which reduces friction, and allows you to string on the decoration MUCH faster, and without pulling ^_^
Life-hack #6:
Want to add something special for the kids to drink? Mix together some lime-sherbet ice-cream with some Sprite, and BAM! you've got yourself some delicious, fizzy drinks to possibly make little kids even more hyper XD
